SS badge for heritage grille from 1st gen grill

I know some have used original SS emblems from the 1st gen grills, but can't find the posts to specify which year works the best with the least amount of modification on the heritage grill, the 68 or 69 emblems?

I wanted to order the ones from Phasetek, but they are out of stock with no estimated date of when they will get more in.

I ordered some from them earlier this week, but haven't been able to get ahold of them to confirm the order so kinda skeptical as to whetehr or not I'm going to get them. I got charged for them, but no one is answering phone calls/returning calls or answering the emails. Going for a backup option with the original emblems.

When I ordered mine from them, they returned no communication whatsoever....just charged my credit card, same as you. In about a week or so, I received my SS emblem from them and it was a high quality, all metal piece with all the mounting hardware, and the price was the best that I could find. To get it to fit exactly, I bent it ever so slightly. Even if they don't respond to your emails, I would suggest you continue to email them anyway. The squeaky wheel, etc.....

Thanks, I'll give it a week or so more before I go another route and keep sending emails.

I used the 69 SS from classic industries in my heritage grille just needed to trim the mounting bracket a little so it can't be seen

Did you use the badge from the regular 69 grill or the RS grill?
