Man, wish I could justify driving to where I grew up one evening for some pics for you guys. Ok, so maybe we were yuppies and I didn't know it. When my older bother's college girlfriend came to visit(back in mid 90's) she asked "So where do normal people live?" I didn't have an answer to that question, I thought we were normal. I realize now we were in a relatively well off area.

But across the street from where we lived is a neighborhood that we always went to so we could view Christmas lights. These are the ones that I'd like pics of. Definitely rich people. The whole neighborhood is extremely well off, and they all do major league lights. Like multiple of them have crane's brought in every year to hang their lights. It's quite the show. I could see where a little kid could confuse it for Santa's actual workshop.

Given that it's Alabama and usually not too cold, we some years would use my mom's 95 Vert Z28 with the top down and the heat on to ride around looking. Other years if there was more of us, we'd throw a bail of hay in the back of the pick up truck and ride around on a hay ride looking at lights.

We made it into one of the local papers for their Holiday Lighting section this year!

And yes - that's Santa in a race car.

Nice lights folks. We only did a little decorating this year. You can see by the few outdoors lights what area of our home we love the most. Anyway, here are a few pics (plus one of our bunny who would not let us put on her Christmas dress but wore it like a blanket):
