Thank you John. While you are talking to them would you ask them when they are going to finish the install instructions they have on their site? They read "Need Jamie's Approval" and the length to cut them before the cat is missing still. Thank you again very much!

Im thinking we should contact Doug Thorley directly and work out a group buy with them. No need to include a middle man. We could probably get them cheaper doing that too.

Just trying to facilitate communication. If you want to contact DT about a group buy directly, I'm all for it. This grad school homework doesn't do itself.

I'd say let John VS take the idea to them, seeing how he's their test mule, he's gotta have some knowledge of whom to talk too, lol. Just sayin, that's all. Especially since I've seen posts where people are talking about DT's lack of email response time. Maybe having a local fellar would be a good thing??

I think he meant to cut out AutoAnything, not to cut out John.

For a minute there I thought you had the impression I was getting a cut of the group buy. If only it were so!

Sounds like there's one offer on the table for a group buy. Haven't heard a price point though.

I left a message for Nick. Hopefully I'll hear back from him today. I'll be in an out but I'll let you know if I hear from him.

Bad karma's group buy is going to be priced at 450 a set but I honestly think that we could get a better price direct from factory. No offense karma

No offense taken...those were initial numbers. There are only a handful of them built. Jon here has one of 5. We have the other 4 coming. Need 15 to get the build rolling.

EDIT:Here you go guys and gals!:

Okay, good news. Nick at DTH just let me know they have four sets left from the initial batch. The first four who call him can get a set for $325. That's a full 33% off regular price and nearly $200 less than auto anything's price on comparable JBAs.

He did say he may be able to set up another group buy in the near future, but right now this is all they have on hand.

Here's his info:

Nick Thompson

Oh, and I forgot to ask him about the instruction pdf and when that would be finished. I'll ask him now.
