SNEAK PEAK!!! 2009 Camaro Convertible Cruising on Woodward! Video first time ever!

LSX TV got the 2009 Camaro Convertible Crusing at the Woodward Dream Cruise for the first time ever driving.... got a full video including an interview with a Chevrolet Top Dog Ed Peper about plans for the '09 release and upcoming models..

Some highlights..

.. got video of it driving
.. the running prototype had a 400 hp LS2 from the 07 vette (no surprise)
.. vehicles will be available at some dealers by end of 08 (coupe), convertible at end of 09
.. car looked sweet with 22"'s on it.. was slammed.. ride height as perfect

nice find i just hate the one part when he says wont be out on the dealers floors till late 2008 early 2009 :(

Nice. Did you notice how Peper said "currently powered by an LS2", and then later, "It's vitally important for cars like Corvette and Camaro to come out with the Latest, greatest technology"...

I'm liking - a lot! Though, I've heard a few times about these 'Unexpected surprises', when the vehicle is released. I want to know what they are, now! Of course, then they wouldn't be surprises, huh?

exactly!! and who doesn't like surprises?!?!?! The more i read on different sites and the more videos i watch that have anything to do with this car the more it seems the big wigs at GM are having a hard time hiding the fact that this car is gonna have an ls3. It's sort of like they are saying it,without saying it if that makes sense.

No (nods his head yes) we won't(still nodding) have an LS3. (winks and gives a thumbsup)

Like I've said before, whatever engine they put into this car, I'll be more than happy. Now that we're 75% sure it's getting an LS3, I'm more than more than happy!
