My last Camaro was a '67 RS - still beat myself up over letting it get away.

Old pic, don't laugh I was probably on something... you know...mid to late 70's

A couple of questions - is there a way to get the original window sticker? Seems GM has removed that option. I have a Hurst short throw, with a leather grip saw on their website that it was an option. Everything else is bare bones. I like that - real muscle cars never had a bunch of foo foo stuff.

And a tire question - Has 'kooks all season sticker on door sez 36psi f/b, do I go by that or by whats on the tire. Regular driving, wifey and I will use it for road trips and cruising no track....

Great forum, I've already learned quite a bit about my new baby.
Congrats UnEasy Rider,

Man, that is one nice looking vehicle! You made a great choice! I may be able to assist with the window sticker if you private message me the VIN.

Thank you all for the hearty welcome. Good to see so many fellow Texans here.

Hope to do a Hill Country road trip in the near future, maybe head to Kerrville, or Leaky and check out the 3 sisters. (Except the one with the all the cattle guards).

mySSt: I'll keep an eye on the CoET thread. Tyler is about 1 1/2 hrs and I'm always looking for an excuse to drive the SS. Thanks for the heads up.

Chevrolet Customer Svv: Thanks for the offer. Do you really work for Chevrolet?

The only time I get "the look" from the wife is when I mention all of the cool mods I read about on here.

That is funny!!

I step out and look at mine everyday. It's garage kept though with the sand blast of West Texas most days, and yes I get that look from my wife everyday.

I know about the sand blast... lived in Midland/Odessa for about 6 years.

I wish I could get mine in the garage, but have way too much carp in there...Tools, workbench, dirt bike, etc.... looking at covers, or portable garage just to keep the uv's off of it. Loving this car, makes driving fun again. Got "the look" this weekend when I took off a bit aggressively...
