My Z/28 engine builder!

For those of you with a Z/28, pull off the right fuel rail cover, look at the back of the intake, and you will see the name of who your LS7 was built by! I think this is super cool

Yes I posted mine on the other thread. Some one said they would not have a tag, but mine did. And name Chuck Wells was engraved, some have it in print.

It's never seen with the cover on, I was thinking of putting the tag next to the Chevy Performance by the hood latch.

That is a nice surprise and very cool. But if mine is built by Mike Priest . . . my wife will not believe it!

Very cool and a nice touch for a hand built engine another reason why the Z/28 is # 1 in my books

I just did a quick google search and found a video of Mike Priest assembling an LS9:

At the 1:42 mark he puts his plaque on it.

Quote:
The video you see above shows Mike Priest (the guy who's built more ZR1 engines than anybody) putting together an LS9 in time lapse. So now if you waltz into a dealer and order one of these babies, make sure to check the "GM understands its Corvette customers and wants them to be happy" box. The added cost of $5,800 is likely worth every penny.

This car has been full of "Easter Eggs" from the very beginning hasn't it? Yes, another nice surprise!

My ZL1 does not have the name of the Robot that built it. Fanuc or Koka I hope.

I'll investigate mine tomorrow. Any other Z/28 secret signatures or markings? I found a big Z/28 scribbled on the inside of the rear bumper cover passenger side.

Looked at mine just now and " Sarah Ward" built mine. Some might think differently because it was built by a girl in Bowling Green but I think it's cool that a girl makes me go fast. My hats off to you Sarah. The Ford guys are getting beat by a girl engine builder. Take that guys!
