ZL1 on Meth!
Finally got my new controller installed and went for a few pulls with my good buddy JR, Seems we have found a much more powerful tune with the meth Heading to the track this weekend with a new tire set up as well. Stoked to see how she runs! Initial pulls for the tune says 15 mph increase the 1/4 mile. Should be a blast!!!

I changed the air box out for an Airaid system. That, the water/meth injection, and an awesome tuner is all that has been done to this one. I am trying out a set of Mickey Thompsons on 18s and 6" skinnys up front this weekend. Definately should be running in the 11s. I already have a best pass of 12.35 @ 117 on stock tires and no meth.

So the car made 464 rwhp with just the air raid and made 578 rwhp with only adding meth? How is the car making 13 psi with the stock pulleys? |

I thought that added up to 7. Those sheets have way to much information for me but I know that you won't get 15mph in the 1/4 by adding meth. Even if you tuned it for power. Which isn't smart. If meth gains were that great everyone would run it. I'm just making sure the OP isn't being given a bunch of false info.

I'm adding meth tonight. Looking forward to trapping 150 mph+!!
73 rwhp on tune alone is false. A lot of things look fishy. The tuner hasn't a clue. Above the meth chart he states the the weather was 20 degrees hotter than the stock N/A tune. Wow |

Looking good, will probably add meth to my Z when finish my current build and have some numbers. One of the best things you can do on a supercharged application.

Back from the track....had a bit of a problem with a kinked hose and a leaky fitting. All in all for the system not working right it still worked in a way. She did not run what I though she should (thus the investigation into the problem) but ran better than ever and in the heat. I video'd the runs to figure out some more. The 60' was still off, now that I have it hooked up I need to preload the suspension a bit better and leave with a bit more RPM. Still ran 119 mph in the heat...would have been 114 in the same temps before.
I have since rerouted some of my lines and have no more leaks or tight bends. Full pressure for me now! Back to the track Saturday for our super shifter race. I think I have the bugs worked out now, going for that 11 second pass right out of the box! As a side note...if you purchase the SNOW PERFORMANCE system you are going to need some help. The instrucions are absolutly worthless...I have already been through the headaches with them...the tech could not even answer my questions? With that said, I do know that you can get it to work and I do know how...now. So, more than happy to help. |

She has made 13 psi from the first tune...Why do you question me when I gave you all the info from my tuner? This is not a scewed dyno, it was all road and load info. Take it for what it is!
