V6 Order at 2500 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

As of this morning, my order has reached event status 2500. Are there any members whose V6 status is 2500 or higher?

Ordered: 2LT/RS IOM int./ext., sunroof, black rally stripes
Date ordered: October 13, 2008
TPW: April 13-17, 2009

I also have a build date of april 13-17 on a 2LT/RS package. My dealer does not know what an event code is. Or he wont say. I ask him about it and he says he doesnt know what I mean. So I can only assume I am at 2500 or higher.

The event status code can be found on GM Globalconnect. My dealer sent me this today.

Even though I ordered October 13th at 9am, am #1 at my dealership, AND they were allocated 2 cars....I'm still sitting at 1100.....and waiting for the call :(

I was told I am 2500

I ordered a 2LT way back in Oct as well, so I can only hope they are starting to build them!!!

ordered a 2lt back in october from my local maryland dealer. i'm currently @ 3000.

thanks. though after hearing about the case of a 3400 that had his tpw moved back a few weeks i'm trying to keep my expecations in check.

I think it was our72gto that was talking about his V6 order being pushed back. Hopefully that's not a sign of things to come.

Man that sucks. Just when we think we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hope it is just a bad rumor and not true. Or more specific to something on his order causeing it to get delayed and not affect all V6 orders.

Like someone said...perhaps it's something w/ the Canadian orders. I'm just happy to be above 1100 for the time being!

I know this is off topic a bit. But do you think the size of the tires would effect the stats on the car? In other words would the 18" get better numbers than the 20" tires?
