both are awesome, especially the 2011 versions of each, one because of the new engine (5.0) and two because the Camaro has ironed out its initial issues for 2011, which makes it even more awesome... but one disappointing things is no news on the ABM replacement. ABM=awesome.

when are the 2011 mustangs available ? We'll know what they are when they hit the streets, should be soon. Either way I still prefer coke over pepsi. Sure pepsi has more sugar but I like coke.

Too much anguish over this. Both cars are awesome and the reality is this is a driver's race with stock vehicles. The new Mustang is an awesome car. Yes I said that, and I am a Chevy guy through and through. Any Ford guy that can't say the same about the Camaro is just plain biased.

The 2011 Mustang will drive what happens next with the Camaro and others. That is the way it has always been. It is healthy competition like this that gives US muscle car consumers the best options...

To me it really doesn't matter which car is faster stock vs stock, because what I think matters most is the visual appeal of the vehicle. You can have a 1000hp car, but if its ugly what's the point in driving it? You can modify anything to go fast with enough money. Looks wise I think the camaro is far ahead of the mustang. The looks of this years camaro looks drastically different from other things GM has ever produced. And its selling! The mustang on the other hand seems to look the same every year, with maybe a subtle difference.

Which is why I love the camaro! Looks and performance is killer for the money.

i think the Challenger looks the best. Its subtle,yet car guys know that everything about its looks is pure badass-ness.No crazy fender flares or vestigial (nonworking) vents or cowls. Its the closest thing to a modern muscle car.
The new retro Camaro has an initial visual impact but then after getting used to its looks, it kinda looks like the designers were influenced by kids. It looks very "Disney" to me.
To each their own, looks is an entirely subjective thing, yet in some ways can be the most important.

These Ford guys are all alike. Love to talk smack and cant back it up. Havent won a race on Sunday since when? And lets compare apples to apples. GM is not going to make the Camaro faster than the Corvette never have never will. Its funny they like to compare Fords fastest car to GMs 2nd fastest. Aint nobody on this site going to back down from your GT bring it. My 2ss six speed manual is always hungry. And aint lost to a mustang yet. And if we cant beat you in or Camaro our big brother can. Dare ya to race a ZR1 I bet your pony cant keep up with those 638 horses.
