White SS badging RED SS Badging??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Holy buckets!
I just seen in one of the forums a two red jewel tint coat cars,
and one had RED SS badges front and rear, and another car the same color as the other had WHITE ss badging front and rear???
I am a stickler for detail but.....
Am I missing something here???

White= 1SS or 2SS
Red= 1SS or 2SS with RS package.

silver SS is just a standard SS. Red SS is SS/RS

Thats what I was thinking.. Where is this clarified anywhere?

So, if you order a 2SS with the RS package, then the car will have red badges by default correct?

And if you dont order the the RS package on either, it will have white SS badges by default?

I want to order white SS badges for my 1SS IOM/RS looks SOOO MUCH BETTER!!! If that sounds picky it might be but its more important to me then the color of the car itself!

And just for interest's sake, the V6 models get a red 'RS' badge where the 'SS' is on SS cars

I agree with you, the silver SS badges look better on IOM cars..

I have a 2SS/RS, RJT. I thinkd the red SS on the RJT looks bad, clashes, no contrast. I will de-badge. May replace with white or something custom, or just leave off.

I have a 2SS with no RS package was not crazy about the lights, plus I like the white SS instead of the red one.
