Diablo Tuner Questions?

I need some help with some questions I have.
Does anybody have one and is it easy to use?
I was reading about it and how it can make the L99 run on 8 cylinders all the time and also turn off the torque management, there is one that cost around $400.00 and one that cost around $600.00, I'm not sure how much more can be done with the $600.00 one and how I have never used one of these would I be able to make all the changes myself if I bought one, please help me out with any suggestions.

I had the Trinity and i can tell you the difference is the touch screen and read outs that you can monitor , and it has its own dragstrip light tree which can record your all the same info you get at the track. And thats the only difference between that and the other one.

They are very easy to use and yes they can turn off the 4 cylinder shut down crap thats on the auto's. It also can tune pretty much anything else you want. I'm not sure if the $400 can change your tunes on the fly , but the Trinity can change your tunes on the fly just stop the car and tell it to either switch tunes or go back to the original.

I was reading more on the Diablo Trinity Tuner and it says it will accept up to 5 upgrades or tunes, does this mean after the 5 tunes that is unable to use anymore?

The Diablo's are great IF there are no proffesional tuners around your area. The downfall is you have no idea if you get performance results and IF the tune is safe. Then to check the gains you should be dynoing the car which cost more $$..

We tune alot of cars for people that already spent $$ on a tuner like Diablo. Our full tunes are $450 which include a custom tune, checked with scanners on the street and Dyno tuned after. So there is no guess work if the tune is right or not.

Just FYI, Jannetty Racing Does Diablosport CMR tuning for the whole northeast.

What this means is I can custom tune on the dyno using the Diablosport Predator or trinity, or I can add mail order tunes if you are too far away.

They have a pretty powerful datalogger, where you can record and send me the log files I can look them over and make changes in the right direction.

Ted.

The Trinity has the same features as the Diablosport Predator. Feature discription for the Predator U 7194 can be found at

Not too sure what you mean by a Chip, the Trinity has tuner capability??
