OK. First, this > , was used to show you I was also teasing you. OK?

Second. If you are part of forums for any length of time, you realize because you can't see or hear someone when they make a comment and only read their words, they can be misinterpreted.

Finally, as for ego. Don't base your opinion of someone on one comment/post they may make. It only makes you look bad. Anyone who knows me, or has met me knows, ego, is not something I have.

No I would not have known how to have taken your first post. It's water under the bridge now I'd like to think. I apologize if I have offended you or anyone else.

OK. It is "Water under the bridge". No apologies necessary.

NOONE is getting banned. I appreciate and respect everyone's opinions. And I welcome them.

Now. Let's move forward.

What was the premise of this thread???

I think I will go on a Toyota site and tell them the Camry sucks and see what the reaction is! Probably exactly the same as what happened here. What do people expect? Let us move on!!!!!

my problem with $100k sports cars:

2002 Z28 - $23.8k new

full bolt ons - $5k new (I'm including heads and cam since they "bolt on" or are held in by bolts)

full suspension upgrades - $3k new

Moser 12bolt rear end - $3300 new

C5 brakes upgrade - $2k including parts... all new

for less than $40k, you can build a car that will keep up with almost any car in the world... start with a '99-'00 C5 FRC and it gets even better than that... so why buy a generic $100k car when you can build one up to your own personal tastes for $50k or less?

I believe the R8 is a wonderful machine but they wont be selling one to me... unless maybe I win the Lottery and decide to get one for my home in Jamaica or something
