Problem Solved?
Hi Camaro5 community,
I've been driving my 2012 Camaro 2LT/RS for quite some time now, since 2011. In that time, I've noticed my steering wheel become more and more leaned to the right when I'm driving straight. The roads here in So Cal are wrecked, uneven pavement, and sometimes potholes and cracks. I've never ran my car up against anything, so I know I couldn't have damaged my suspension. I was wondering if a strut tower brace could make the car stiffer and, perhaps, correct the steering issue as the strut tower brace, as the name states, braces the two front strut towers, keeping the struts fixed in one position at all times. I'm not sure if this is what will solve my problem, so I ask for any input. Whether it be experts or people that have noticed any benefits, if at all, from installing a strut tower brace to their non-convertible Camaros.

Nope...a strut tower brace won't change anything for you. Sounds like you need an alignment and/or new tires.

Even the company that sells strut braces said check alignment

Sounds like the wheel is just off center but if you have a lot of road crown where you normally drive, be sure to mention it to the technician aligning it. This can cause what it sounds like you're describing. Adjustments can be made to the camber or caster settings to correct for this.

Definitely an alignment issue IMO

Are you sure you have the same air pressure in both tires. a front tire can pull not much ifthe air is down. even heard of radial pull.
