TPMS misfire?

I started driving my car yesterday and the TPMS on my dash showed up and it said my rear driver side tire was at 27psi and kept blinking. I got out and looked at the tire to see if it was low or leaking or going flat. Nothing.

So I did a "relearn" of the tires and they all went to normal after that on the TPMS. Driving around for a while again and it did it again. It was annoying me so I figured I'd go see if putting air in it would help. I put quite a bit of air in it and the TPMS never went up from 27psi even though the tire clearly had more air in it, even by eyesight.

So....I let some of the air back out of it that I'd just put in and it seems fine except for the TPMS signaling it's low. Anyone else have this problem? Guess I'll just take it to the dealer. I hate dealing with those people though, ugghhh.

These break from time to time, I'd check it with a gauge though.

TPMS is an easy warranty repair.

Thanks guys! Actually there wasn't a misfire. My tire was slowly going flat...but the thing is...is that what was showing on my TPMS in my car was the opposite wheel from the one that was actually going flat. It was saying that my driver side rear wheel was going flat but in reality it was the passenger side going flat. I ended up finding it out by eyesight and then saw the opposite wheel was at 10psi!!!! Anyway, I had the nail removed and tire repaired. All good now!!
