No explanation necessary because he's already proved his commitment.

But we will keep twisting his arm.
Could always moved fest to interlagos. Plenty of room, road course (f1 circuit), and 2100 meter drag strip.

I like this brand of thinking...

So, The wife and I took a much needed time out and went to a tropical island for a bit.... We made a couple of excursion trips while there and spent most of our time hanging out around the bar/swimming pool and beach... reading, relaxing and visiting... It's an all inclusive resort in Ocho Rios Jamaica.... Couples Sans Souci... No kids, no singles, no hassle, No Worries...

While there, I spent some time diving... Drift dives, boat dives, fish identification dives, deep dives and an underwater navigation dive. This was all with the purpose of achieving my Advanced Open Water certification. Success...

The dives were easy and relaxing due to the experience I gained diving in the Fire Department. We dove in mostly black water (No Visibility) for the purpose of evidence recovery, vehicle recoveries, underwater crime scene prosecution and body recoveries. A smooth case of the uglies comes from diving in black water and coming face to face with a drowning victim. It's happened... A few times.... Then having a sunken vehicle reported, and going into it underwater to ensure there are no victims remaining in the vehicle prior to pulling the car from the water... I also dove under narrow height bridges in flood waters looking for a drowning victim...

The diving in Jamaica presented me with visibility ranges over 100 feet... I was in heaven...

Journal entry by Debbie Taylor — 11/3/2017

The symptoms of the heart attack appeared quickly. Robert and fellow crew members had boarded a rig off the coast of Trinidad to prepare it for relocation. Robert was working in an office area when he told a coworker he thought he was having a heart attack. Quick thinking and action on the part of several made things happen that saved Robert’s life. Several men shared the responsibility of CPR and use of the automatic defibrillator. Others called for transport back to Port of Spain and a hospital. Others gathered up Robert’s belongings and duffel bag. Others helped move Robert out of the little office and through the stairwells of the rig. The rig doctor, safety rep, and others boarded the helicopter to continue vigilance and vigorous CPR in flight; one of whom remained at the hospital while Lloyd’s Registry arranged for Debbie to travel to Robert.

I'm still having a tough time wrapping my head and emotions around this. Brings back a number of still fresh emotions of my own.

I'm praying for you, buddy!
