The 2014 LSX event schedule is being changed again in the upcoming days. BG KY is to be added back in.
Also look for revised rules and point structures.

See you out there.

After LSX shootout in Indy this last year, I'm done with NMCAs shows.

I don't recognize the nice looking ride in your Sig.
Did we meet while there?

I'd be interested in discussing offline (PM or other) any issues you experienced.
Ive been going to them for a few years-I can attest things don't always go as anyones' planned (including the track operators).
Many times its poor timing or misunderstanding of rules. Been there myself a few times.

NMCA was proactive over this winter and contacted many of us Usuals for input on how to make things better and to let us Vent. Hats off to them-they all work hard and do their best to help.
As a result, there are several Rule changes-available on the website.

Regards,
Tim

We may have met, not sure. I was only there on Sunday. When I was there I only met one other guy with a 5th gen (black stock one). It was a culmination of things that I didnt care for about that day. I had gone to the one in Joliet earlier that year and had fun, but the Indy one just left a bad taste in my mouth, enough to where I dont see me giving them a chance to renew themselves.

Sorry to hear about your disappointing experience, although it couldn't have been for the 5th Gen race class since you had to qualify on Saturday to run Sunday. Perhaps you were there for the car show. If so, unfortunately I wouldn't have anything constructive to add.

I was at the Joliet race too for NMCA EFI class-it was dang Hot, as usual.

Nice looking ride. Love the hood scoop-unfortunately we can't race with a forward facing one.

I am heading over to take a look at those rule changes, but do you care to elaborate here....

I just did.
No rentals.... Thats a good change

2-step. Only pedal activation. Whats the difference if its on a button?

No Trans brake? Dislike that one.

And one of my major gripes is not pairing up the cars in round 1. I hate the random pairings. That will leave no doubt who u run. Plus you cant get out of running who you pulled up next too.

Courtesy staging is in the rules...so if one were to double bulb someone..do they get eliminated from the round?

Also curious why couldn't you have a hood scoop?

Stock appearance?

Happy holidays Andrew.

Respectfully, I feel its each driver's responsibility to review the Class specific, NMCA, and Nhra rules on their own. To restate them all here would be impracticle and may be detailed improperly or out of context, causing misunderstanding, which I wouldn't want to be responsible for.
I would recommend saving a copy and bring to races for reference.
There are several things that NMCA has improved for a more level playing field and a better series. I would anticipate and have seen spot checks and formal competitor inquiries during races.
Please contact NMCA for clarification of questions-they have always been helpful to me (despite my high maintenance-but am a rule player and always learning).

Good day,
Tim

Correct, I was there for the car show and to watch the races at both events. Havent started tracking my car yet, waiting to get some more supporting mods done first.
