Why doesn't gm do something like this?
http://www.fordvehicles.com/the2010mustang/
I mean when was the last time the Camaro site was even updated? I mean their latest news is talking about SEMA. |

Great website..boring car.
I've always preferred the Fbod to mustang, but GM advertising didn't have anything to do with it. I dunno, maybe they (GM) think the cars sell themselves. I disagree and think if they want the Camaro to survive this round they should promote the hell out of it. Being an old network guy I relate it to Novell/NetWare. Greatly superior product, no advertising = Microsoft Windows wins. |

They had a similar site up for the concept car. If I may say so; it blew Ford's away...but now, the current site is for the production model, and has been toned tone so you can easily find and access real info.
EDIT: the bold is supposed to be "down"...but MerF feels like an idiot so I left it. Love 'ya MerF! |

Being toned tone is much more mellow than just being toned.

I like the Camaro and the new Mustang, i think the challenger is rather boring myself. But it would be nice if the site were a bit more flashy. Whip people up into a frenzy about the car. I know we don't need it, but "Joe Plumber" (sry i had to) who's just cruising the GM site might just say, "wow that looks sharp", and go on about his day.

All of the GM marketing people are too busy trying to get out the second letter and sketch that we all keep hounding them for!

We probably won't see any advertising until around Summer time, when folks can actually pull up to the dealership and drive away with a new Camaro.
