In other news, looks like once the new 10" JL W3v3 comes in, I'll have a buyer for both boxes, both subs, and my 250/1 JL amp. ...all for the very low price of nearly 50% off... Oh well, the new JL 10"W7 and ported box is going to ROCK my Camaro to pieces!

Now...to go out and buy a ton of dynomat, sound deadening material, weather stripping, silicone for the trunk...and whatever else is going to be needed to fix all the rattles this thing is going to have.

Now...if it were a vert, wouldn't have any of these issues... :(
Now you'll definitely need the supercharger. That dynamat is HEAVY!

not a fan of the polished... I have nothing else shiny on my car. Believe it or not, I DO like the regular old black maggie.

Now...totally hypothetical here...would it be better for me to non aspirated with a built motor (cam and heads) or with a supercharger?

The only reason I ask this is because we live in TX...and heat soak, if I'm in the right train of thought, can be a bitch in 100 degree weather.

Curious to know what "could be" from either combination. cost and output (hp and tq) on each set up.

It seems like every time I get close or finally get the debt paid off, something comes up. I know...it's life. Now I have a dent in the wife's SUV that's going to cost several hundred dollars... But, if I can start putting away a tiny bit here and there....

That's the million dollar question...

If I did it all over again I'd slap a SC on it and be done with it...

...that's my plan for the next one anyway...

Built Motor only vs blower...

With a stock or mild tune...and a blower, you'll be fine.. and as far as a polished maggie... I know a coating guy that could powder coat a maggie... probably... As for heat soak, talk to Keith... Camaro21... He knows as well as anyone if there is an issue there...

Built motor with a cam and heads... you may pay a fortune in gas.... depends on the driving style and purpose/style of cam, size etc...

before the flames start my way, this is just a way over simplified response...
