MRT V2 Lengths

I'm interested in this exhaust set-up.

I have the GM Ground Effects kit and I've seen several pictures of exhausts that either stick out the back of the car at an absurd length or are so short you can't see them unless you get on your knees.

So my questions are - the MRT V2

- does it stick out? If so how much / do you have a picture with ground effects?

-If it is short - how short is it - and please post a picture if possible.

Thanks for any help!

I cut exactly where the instructions said to cut. It seems to be very close to the stock length.
I love'em, but 4" tips would not hurt. (non-gfx, sorry)

Thanks for the response! That's good to hear they are close to stock - next question would be:

Are vehicles with ground effects equipped with slightly longer tips stock?

The MRT V2 has 2 versions of the exhaust. 1 for non GM ground effects and 1 for the GM ground effects body kit. They are just a little bit longer. How much? that i don't know.

Thanks for the help - and the link - looks like they are pretty much the same length as stock and that's what I'm looking for.

When you installed the exhaust did you have to take off the entire system or were you able to cut it off on the car and then weld them up. Im guessing you probably have to drop the exhaust off the car.

Haven't installed mine yet - but you don't have to drop the exhaust you can chop it while on the car and tie in the new one.
