EXPERIENCE THE EXCITEMENT

The 14th annual Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival – “The Race at the Base” – is looking forward to a great year. Join thousands of race enthusiasts and fans in this premier motorsports event saluting our nation’s military.

Event Information
September 24 and 25, 2011
8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until last race
Parking lot opens at 7:30 a.m.
Gates open at 8 a.m.

LOCATION AND TIMES
The annual Coronado Speed Festival Car Show is held on Naval Base North Island from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday & Sunday. Judging begins at 9 a.m. with awards presented at 12:30 p.m. each day.

TROPHIES AND CLASSES
Trophies awarded for 1st place on Saturday.
Trophies awarded for 1st and 2nd place on Sunday.
First place winners from each class will get an opportunity to do a lap around the race track on Saturday/Sunday.

Olds
Buick
Pontiac
Corvette
AMC
Ford
T-Bird
Chrysler
Plymouth
Vintage Pony*
Modern Pony**
Street Rod
Custom
Miata

Tuner
Truck
Motorcycle
Additional Special awards for Best Paint, Best Engine, and Best of Show.

Entry fee includes:
Entry into the Car Show ($15 value; does not include general admission)
One free car show T-shirt
A chance to win a trophy!

I will have to call them up, entry is free to military but not sure about the car show....

Active duty military need only pay the $15 entry fee... no need to pay for tickets to the festival.

I have several of the car corral parking passes the i got though the Camaro Club of San Diego if anyone is interested. you still need to pay admission but you get to park in the corral. I couldn't count them last night in the dark but lets call them first come first served. and you could pick them up at the Fall Classic if you go there. if you have a lame excuse like a wedding

for not making the fall classic, We can make other arrangements.
