The corvette HUD starts in ther 3LT trim level, $3000 more than the 2LT level. HUD is not a $350 option.

$350 isn't bad at all.

Now lets see if they drop the price of the 2010.
I wouldn't mind that at all. Not really a fan of the HUD.

No pricing information available yet on the Camaro Convertible. We're still a ways out from that.

I just checked the pricing/options list... and the hurst short-throw shifter is now on there as a factory option for 2011 as well.. . for $380 MSRP...

($323 dealer cost / $337 "preferred pricing" - used to be employee discount/cost)....

woohoo!!

oh, and rally yellow and synergy green are now "pay-extra-for" colors...

Price and stability

It is good news that GM price increase is minimal.
The overall success of the New Camaro is undoubtable.
GM can do better:
1. Increase the margin without increasing the retail price of the car.
Right now franchisees don't make a lot of money on the sale of the car (about $1000) and an incease of profit would entice dealers to sell more cars.
2.Incorporate the GM High Performance parts catalog into the Camaro factory accessories. When I know that I can order headers, cat back, hurst shifter, etc, I will be ready.
3. The Z28 model and convertible will have a significant price difference between the 2SS.

Best
Ricky
