Subrame cradle bushing insert help!

I'm doing my rear cradle bushing inserts and all is going well so far except I can't get the front 2 washers out of the bushing so I can install the lower inserts! Any ideas on how to get these suckers out? I got the rears off by simply prying on them with a screwdriver. This doesn't seem to want to work on the fronts though! Help!!!

you can just use a big pry bar to pry off the washers, they are tight but they will pop off

Answered your PM before I saw this post but it looks like you're in good hands already with Jaysins' instructions and video. The washers will pop off without heating them but if you have access to a torch, it does make it a little easier.

You need to lower the cradle about 3 inches to have enough room for installing the inserts. Here is a link to our installation instructions if you are interested: INSTALL

Nothing needs to be done with the brake lines if you're just lowering the cradle.

You have to unclip the brake line from the hub and remove the calipers. BMR suggests to tie wrap the calipers up and out of the way. Also have to remove the emergency brake cables from the hub. BMR says to lower about 3", I went about 4" before I could get them in. BMR also says to disconnect the ABS cable plugs but I don't see why, the wires stay with the cradle as you lower it.

I'll be getting back to finish the work either tonight or tomorrow so I'll let you all know how the front washers go! Got my map gas ready!

FWIW, I didn't touch the brake lines when I lowered my cradle to install inserts. I did, however, have to remove the rear section of my Magnaflow catback to allow the cradle to drop far enough...

OK guys I just finished up! I finally got those stubborn front washers off but I didn't need to heat them up. I got at them with a couple large screwdrivers and pryed the hell out of them and....boing, off the popped and flew accross the floor! LOL! I had to take the back half of my Solo Mach-X off which was a piece of cake! All in all a pretty straight forward job! Thanks for everyones help and advise!
