It's a mind-set. If you like Apple, you will likely not like Android (and vice versa). They are so different, you just gravitate to one or the other. Not usually both. I do know Apple people that have jumped ship, though.

Now, from a developer's point of view, clearly Apple wins since there are a limited number of OS versions to deal with.

I definitely understand a lot of differences now. There are a lot of things on both sides that I like and I dislike, from both a user as well as a developer standpoint. Luckily, we'll be able to claim support on both fronts very shortly.

Going to add my SL module this weekend. Joe has been awesome!! Answers all questions quickly and thoroughly. Kit seems like it is expensive compared to others but fit and function of the kit and more importantly the ongoing support actually make it a bargain.

For anyone interested...inexpensive 7" tablets from www.nomorerack.com for around $60 and up...perfect for giving you a bigger screen to play with the app than a smartphone (for when the android app is released)....

The wait is just about over for Android, so no temporary iPod will be needed. Should be no more than a few days.

I cannot say enough about the Night Owl System. If you have any LED's on your car this is the ONLY system to have!! The configurations are endless. The time spent on development shines through the App and allows each user a customized experience!!
