Dropped her off at Redline Motorsports to get tuned, cant wait to pick her up tomorrow

Last Saturday I swerved to miss a deer and succeeded! However the telephone pole on the edge of the road was much less forgiving than the deer would've been. Dying waiting to hear back from the insurance company last I heard it was borderline repairable totaled so keeping my fingers crossed. Pretty upset about it considering all the time and money I just put into it with the turbo install and just really upset with the whole situation at this point. I know the car can be replaced I can't and all that jazz but still pretty worked up about it.

Changed the oil and filter, gave her a good wash, put stabil in the full tank of gas, battery tender connected, and cover on. Now the wait begins...

Clay bared the car tonight and a coat of wax goes on tomorrow morning. Getting it ready for the winter but still debating if it wants to be in the garage all winter without a drive here and there.

Oh it is giving me an evil look saying if you park me for the winter I won't be nice in spring and I won't sing for you lol. Once it sees my beater it may push it into the street.

did a power slide across the boulevard in front of the bank after leaving work today, LOL most people think I am crazy. then cleaned the engine bay, blew it dry after wash, dressed the plastics. looked pretty spiffy afterwards. getting up at dawn to do a full detail and prep for winter.

Could probably get a few more weeks here too, but when the weather gets cold, my back starts to act up and I have to be really careful. Washing the car in cold weather will sideline me for a couple of weeks, don't want to go through that. I always try to put it away by the end of October anyway. I get a nice little check from the insurance company when I drop most of the coverage off for the winter.

Installed a new Dynomax axle-back exhaust. Not quite as loud as I wanted, but has a much better burble at idle and when I get on it, she howls. Might need hi-flow cats next!
