5 of your biggest complaints with the Camaro
I am considering a new Camaro SS and I am curious to hear of the complaints of the car. Not specific to your personal car but the overall design and its flaws.
Thanks |

Visability is a big pain in the arse. And the car has huge blindspots, but once you get used to them its all good, other then that there arnt any major FLAWS, there are a few things i wish my car had, like a v8.. but you wont be having that problem you will LOVE your car, mark my words..

My USB player. It works, but half the time it's frozen on the last song, and when it does that I can't access any menus. Now the music is still playing but you can't do anything.
I'm trying to get it updated, but my dealer said I need a new PDIM which has been on order for like 6 or 7 weeks now. I have NO other complaints. I love this car. |

I think you can read little issues all over the forum. Welcome to the site!
Keep reading, go sit in and hopefully test drive one, and then come up with your own opinions. Me? I love mine! However, there's always room for personal improvement

No car yet, but my biggest gripe was C&C not available in the 1SS.

I had two that I considered before ordering mine. First was the blind spots. I did notice them, but I don't think an experienced driver will have any problem getting used to using the mirrors and getting used to the visibility. So, that is a non-issue for me. Second was no nav system. I wanted one, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I found nice little Garmin Nuvi I like and found a mount for it made for the Camaro, so it looks and works just fine in the car. Certainly neither was a big problem for me. I thought the styling, power, and driving experience of the car WAY outweighed any of those.

My biggest complaints is 1) trying to back up is a lot harder then one would think due to the rear window and huge C pillars. 2) The USB port doesn't keep track of the song you are playing and your preferences when you turn the car off. Everything else is small stuff like need more options.

As far as design the car is a homerun A+ 100%. I had an earlier 2lt that had some problems ,but I now have a later 2ss that has been flawless. I believe they are getting the bugs worked out. It's a great car. The only complaint I have is the pass side doesn't have power seats and my wife complains she can't see out because of the high belt line of the car.
