Love those F20C. They are boost machines. Good luck and make us proud.

Very small turbo but very quick spool. I assume based on his lack of power he is running log manifold which will be his downfall. If he is running a larger turbo he will also experience lag. Like others have said though don't run from a roll as they fly. I broke a lot of hearts from a roll even modded gto, camaros, and 5.0s. They come with 4.10 gears and 6 speed trannys so they climb quick. Most people that own s2000s have a hard time launching on street tires the best I could get was a 2.0 flat on that run was a 12.8 at 114. Have fun racing and be safe!!!

Same here, had a modded NA Ap-1 for 5 years, fantastic cars, but a pain to launch (not mentioning weak diff as well that likes to frag), should be a good race. You both win for having beautiful cars.

well, hes also upgraded the diff. i forget what rear ratio he went with though. but aside from the clutch and flywheel the drivetrain is all stock.

He probably did the r200 swap from the 300zx. Same gear ratio but the differential housing is much beefier.

BTW the "weak" differential really comes from inexperienced drivers. I have had my car for 11 years, bought new in 02, and have launched 100s of times and still have the same differential. Most people don't preloaded when launching and that's what gives the differential a bad name.

Did you guys every end up racing? what was the outcome? I think you should take the win. I currently own a turbo s2000. and this guy at 315whp should definatly be a win a for you, although, dont fail on shifting he will pull away quick. from a dig should be a easy win for you. i know someone with a 340whp turbo s2000 who lost to a 2011 SS with intake, exhaust, highflow cats , tune and some other bolt on parts and lost to about car length.
