The color of the stripes, they are the only ones that will be stock options from the factory.

Other colors and stripe options (side hockey stripes etc) will be available from dealers as dealer installed options.

Are the dealer installed stripes aftermarket, or GM approved accessories?

Not exactly. They have stated that you will be able to get the Z/28 stripes (over hood and deck lid) only. The hockey stick stripes have not been identified as being optional from the factory.

Personally, I wish they had kept the Z/28 stripes for the Z/28 and offer the hockey stick stripes for the SS.

Those stripes will probably be available for any Camaro, not just SS cars.

"Stripes - heritage-inspired stripes are offered in RS style for the hood or "hockey stick" style side design"

That's from the Camaro site.

White and Cyber Gray are available as factory-options. And other colors (not specified) can be dealer-installed.

And in '69, fwiw...I don't believe any of the stripe patterns were trim-specific...I've seen pics of SS's and Z28s both with the same dual hood stripes..

Assumptions are that they will be GM Approved if done by the Dealership

I guess they call the Z/28 stripe the RS stripe? In '69, all SS cars had hockey stick stripes and all Z/28's had the dual hood/trunk stripes as standard equipment unless specifically ordered as a stripe delete car.

You will never see a real '69 Z/28 with hockey stick stripes. A lot of guys put the Z/28 stripes on their SS because they just love the look but the car never came that way from the factory.

As a diehard, I'm kind of disappointed that they did not save the Z/28 stripe for the Z/28. It was a Z/28 only option from 1967 to 1973.
