I found out that my car is sitting at "order scheduled for production". My dealer ordered it October 9th, so thats pretty good! I ordered the ABM 2LT RS package. Already have the side spear stripes picked out that I want to add, plus the inner accent blackoutsfor the rear quarterpanels. Will make her one unique ABM! I love knowing she will be rare, I have only seen one here in my area.

Got my ABM 2SS RS with black stripes on 10/17. Loven every minute of it.

Scruffyluv, congrats! I went down to my dealer Saturday ... put a deposit and placed order for ABM 2LT RS ... earlier than I wanted to buy but have my heart set on ABM. I'm real nervous because of the order period not opening up again until tomorrow, 10/29. Dealer says they have allocation and I have no reason to doubt that. But the constraint 0-10% on the LT RS package is also working against me. Hopefully GM will be smart and let the ABM ones flow through prior to 11/30. GM, if you are listening, PLEASE build my car! For that matter, please build all the ABM's that get in the order pipeline by 11/9. This about customer service and doing the right thing, here. I'm hoping to get an order number tomorrow. Wish me luck. Is there a patron saint of Camaros that I can pray to?

YES, since you asked I will let you in on this:
Buy a 2010 Hot Wheels Camaro,they are all silver right now
Dig a whole by your driveway
Wrap the Camaro in foil
Put it in the hole back bumper to the bottom
Pray that your order will get done before the cut off date

This worked for me...mine is in the garage now and is it sweet!!
If this doesnt work....you may have to get the Synergy Green color.

sigh.. ordered mine in july.. still no word on a production date... but i guess if the last date of ABM production is november 30, my car HAS to be made by then, right? riiight?? :(

I ordered my 2ss abm on 09/21/09. My dealer says he's not sure if i'll make the cut for abm. what should i do?

You need to find a dealer that has an allocation ASAP and make sure the deposits are refundable.

I had heard there were constraints to the LT's if you ordered stripes. I didnt, I have aftermarket stripes in mind. I found them ( the time constraints) on this site somewhere, i just dont remember where!

Go back to the Camaro5 home page, scroll down to the 23 Oct item, and click on the LINK in the last sentence. You'll see LT RS is on constraint 0 - 10% availability for next 5 to 6 weeks. This is a double whammy when combined with ABM phase out. I plan to bury TWO Hot Wheels next to my driveway to counteract the negative forces ... also found out that St. Christopher is the patron saint of automobile drivers, so I'll be adding daily prayers. While I'm add it, might as well offer Jobu cigars and rum - it worked for Pedro Cerrano for hitting the curve ball - and this is quite a curve ball GM is throwing us!

I saw this Solstice in Hdro blue today at Hendrick Pontiac in Cary, NC. It's much brighter than ABM. I don't like it anywere near as much as ABM. If you can't follow the link go to ebay search 2009 Pontiac Solstice you can't miss it.
