Well after talking to a graphic guy I decided to go ahead with it.

Here's the result. (be gentle )

I have had some really good comments. The best was when I went the dealer recently and a guy wanted to buy my car. He thought it was a dealers car. When I told him it was mine, he told the salesman "I want those stripes" sooo.

If you like it, that's all that matters!

I think it looks well done, but I'm not a fan of stripes as a general rule. I appreciate the car's lines as they are.

The mods were great but the stripe was stupid IMHO. Graphics can be nice but just because you have an open space doesn't mean you have to fill it with graphics. Subtle is one thing but those stripes down the side and hood graphics are a bit on the gaudy side.
The best looking and most sought after muscle cars of the 60's and early 70's had no graphics.. just a plain paint job and tire shredding power.

The car struggles for its own identity as it is, don't make it confused with stripes from another era. Just my opinion. I like to see my paint.
This says it all. Amen a voice of reason. I didn't think there were any of us left.

My gut reaction was NO! But, then I thought, if I HAD to pick one.... The one I chose ended-up being the style you went with.

Go for it man... I want to put the faux hood pins on my car, but I know a lot of dudes knock the idea. If its something that has come to mind, then its what you want. I like the way it looks.
