Bulb powering the halos?
i was curious if anyone on here knows if theres a bulb that powers the halos? i want to change it out if so? so i can have them a little brighter?
been searching and searching on here for over a month now and cant seem to find any threads...does anyone know or can they direct me to the threads? |

Try RPIDESIGNS.com, they offer the halo lights in different colors, you can get them to match your car's color, have green halos coming for mine

Hmm.. I'd be interested to know this too. There must be a separate bulb powering the halos... Say, to fix it with OEM parts if one burnt out without going aftermarket with AAC halos. I'd think it's probably like on BMW E39's and E90's. If you look at the search attached you can see they use a little led bulb that only powers the rings.. http://www.google.ca/m/search?site=i...+angel+eye+led that's just my guess though! It's upgradable on BMWs (or you can replace the whole unit too), so I don't see why it wouldn't be the same with our Camaros if we wanted to stay stock.

Read here, it appears its a single LED that powers the halos, so chances are you could make it brighter:

It's an LED that lights the ring. I changed mine but it takes some fabrication and getting the right parts to make it clean and reliable. Pm me if you need more info. It's a very long process
