A couple tips on Raptor Shift light install
Today TonyNo and I tackled the installation of a single mode Raptor shift light into my car. Now there has been a lot of confusion as to the Raptor instructions. They actually are right but very vague. First off when they refer to a "dark green" wire on the X2 plug, they actually are referring to a kelly green wire. There is a lighter pastel green wire but I wouldn't call the kelly green wire "dark". Now that we have that straight there's still a problem. There are 2 kelly green wires that go into the plug. 2 almost exact same colored wires, no black lines on either. This is where you have to pull off the cap on the plug and look at where the wires go. The kelly green wire you need is in a pin closer to the top in pin #75. It will be the 4th wire from the top because pin #80 is not used. IMO this is why people are using the green wire like the instructions and it's not working. It took Tony and I about 45 min to figure this out, now it works great. Hope this helps.
