This sounds really stupid. You want to scare people, keep the factory exhaust and get some remote cut outs. Then you can have quiet and holy hell loud at the touch of a button.

If you get LTs, do yourself a favor and get a tune. You will thank yourself. The car will run like crap if you dont. And if you do LTs and keep the factory exhaust, you arent going to scare anyone. Its not that much louder. Thats what I run and its pretty quiet even with the LTs and factory exhaust.

No... the cats and O2 sensors remain in the same place..

Actually you can run LTs w/o a tune. There are quite a few that do it. It does not hurt your car. It's just that the cats and rear O2 sensors are moved back so they don't heat up quick enough and set the code.

Before I get totally bashed... it is recommended to get a Tune w/ LTs.

Since you are from SA show up late night at your local street meet and talk to TAG UR IT (one of the mods here on C5) about his setup.

Just about all long tube headers with good high flow cats throw codes. The TSP system is no different. We built the entire system complete from headers to tips with the goal of creating a powerful & awesome sounds system that you'll enjoy driving everyday. Give us a call, we offer headers & connection pipes for use with your stock H pipe & offer mail order tuning that can all be done for VERY reasonable $$$$.

I had long tubes and the rest of the system replaced...check engine light stayed on until...I had cut-outs put on then the light went out immediately.

Jeeze I don't even have a Camaro yet and I've already seen too many LT headers threads on this forum. It's like the 4,000,000 downpipe threads over on cobaltss
