Next time sounds good... How long, from ordered to delivered, did your ccw's take?

Don't ask... search my previous posts. I was a bit miffed at the CCW service. They shipped them to someone else, so I ended up waiting an extra week and a half plus they supposedly emailed all the updates and tracking numbers to someone else. So I was in the dark until I finally kept calling back after they said they would email me and I never got them.

With that said, it still looks like I'll have to order some CCW slicks and skinnies as I don't like the look of the Bogart 17's.

CCW does a set of 16's. Bogarts are 17's.

The bad side of the 17's if you don't have much of a selection for slicks and skinnies (sizes or brands)

The bad side of the 16's is you need to run V6 brakes in the rear.

The middle green gauge/box is the Aquamist programmer/controller for the meth, which also shows inj. pulse width, boost and allows you to program the meth based on inj. pulse width and boost. Pretty bad ass setup.

Under hood shot...

Gauges lit up.
Those boost gauges match really nice!!

You dont have to do that anymore guys, call Andy at ADM performance. Nitto just started making their new tire the NT05R in a 20, but you need wider rims he offers a widened rims package for $1,500 I think. He also has the tire in stock.

This tire has a thread wear of 0, its the one they are using in their competition cars. No need to downgrade to a set of V6 brakes that are not going tobe able to handle the power.

Im going to wait till june when my LS7 wheels arrive then slap a set of those babies in there.

While I think the new Nitto compound tires hook better then the old ones, they are no replacement for a good set of slicks and skinnies.

I know a few of you guys have installed the barton short throw shifter, so Ive got a couple of questions for you: Did you install it yourself or take it somewhere, if you took it somewhere who did it for you? Did you have any problems? What kind of noise if any do you have?

I just installed one myself thursday, it was a pita! Everything felt good so I took if for a short drive, everything was fine. Took for a longer drive on friday and ended up with a loud noise in 1st, 3rd, & 5th gear, and a lot of shake, sounds and feels like it's not hooking up, but there isn't any grinding from the gears. The car will move drive and the noise and vibration will go away, but that can't be right. Im gonna take a look at it Monday to see if anything came loose. If you have any suggestions or comments please let me know.

Thanks

Dynamic Racing in Alamogordo did my install (and all my other parts)

Nothing like what you describe. The only difference between it and stock is the vibrations from the tranny obviously translate to the STS more but nothing significant.
