Maggie's are about $1500 cheaper than the Whipple, (from my personal shopping around) but if we could get a smoking deal Whipple would be the way i wouldn't mind going. (Thanks Nick!) Honestly you can't go wrong with any of them, well , except maybe the Eforce since it is killing engines.

Depending on how long it takes to get my pool installed, I might be ready to do this by the end of summer.

Group install day anyone?

There have been three guys on here lose a cyl. JRE had to develop a fuel rail mod to keep it from happening.

If I was going with a 2.3L SC, it would be the Maggy.

The e-force failures have been isolated. But you do need a fuel system upgrade if you want to go that route.

Personally, I like the e-force design.

BAHAHA! Dream or nightmare, I'm not sure which! If it weren't for Eme, the 2002 might be in some real jeopardy right now LOL! She loves that car too much, I'd have to really persuade her to let me sell it, and I'm jujst not gonna work that hard to get rid of my baby

Before you purchase a used one, get a quote from Jon at Texas Speed. Texas Speed had the best price when i was in the market 5 months ago. If you have any questions about the Maggie, contact or ask Jessika on the supercharger threads.

you can allways get better prices buying a tuner kit, and then buy the boost pump and injectors separately, if you have longtubes and a cold air intake you can use the saved money for a dyno tune.

No LT's yet, but CAI installed already. I have a JRE tune on the car, still have my SCT...

Noob question: is it possible to get my hands on an S/C that will allow me to run shorties, or the stock mani's even?

You can run the stock or Shorties with the SC, the less restrictive the exhaust, the more boost you will need. I run 6psi with stock manifolds and put 513 to the rear tires.

Damn, not bad!! Those numbers would definitely work for me, how's the driveability? What S/C did you go with?

Maggie 2300 with stock 6 PSI boost. The drivability is great, can't even tell there's a supercharger unless you are getting on it. The gas milage didn't change at all as long as I'm not getting on it too hard. I got 23MPG all the way to the Fest and back.

The whine is not too loud unless you install a cog drive. There's no whine at all unless you are jumping on it hard without the cog drive. The non-cog drive whine is really sweet from inside the car.
