Sorry...it was a crazy weekend. We still have some tweaking to do, but wanted to get it ready to run at the Camaro Nationals this weekend. Our best pull was 725 RWHP, and 714 RWTQ at 13.1 lbs of boost. I'll update you once we play around with the tune and add nitrous.

Good numbers through the 4L. If it hooks, it should fly!

I don't really have a boost goal. I was actually surprised we made so much at only 13 lbs. I know the Whipple has plenty more, and they do offer 2 smaller pulleys. I'm really not sure what I'll do next. Running around with 725 to the wheel is pretty insane already. I may just leave it like it is and use nitrous for whatever else I want.

I agree...I was very pleased with the numbers and we're still tweaking the tune. We didn't even lock the converter or install the meth kit yet.

Sounds like a monster Russ. At this point tune it with the nitrous and make it a consistent runner. Then when you "feel the need" up the baseline a little if you so choose with a smaller pulley and do the same. That's the fun of these builds. Always something to look forward to.

I just went this past weekend to the Camaro Nationals, but couldn't get the tires to stick. Need to work on my burnouts and make sure they put enough water in the box. She slid around on every pass, and my best run was 11.21 @ 127.48. Still got a few tweaks to do and I'll be ready to take her out again.

Hey Russ! Been watching your build quietly... You couldn't get the auto to launch? What are you running for rears?

What was your 60' on that pass? What tires are you running? Any rear suspension work?

A lot of the launching problem was the water box.... there was very little water being put down and it wasn't leading to good burnouts.... and the serious increase in power... Russ drifted a couple hundred feet down the track one pass... but I also saw him in a heck of a pedal fest... with some of the quickest responses to what the car was doing I've seen outside of professional racing... He done good.... Really good, for a relatively speaking, brand new car...
