Talked to my dealer today - he said that the 'factory' said it was built but he was not able to get a VIN yet. He (and I) won't believe anything until he sees a VIN. We'll see tomorrow ...

My salesman checked with the manager and still no VIN for me, but like Primus said, Thursday seems to be the next big day that we might hear something.

I checked with my dealer today and my IBM 1LT V6 RS manual is now at 3400 as well. Looks like they are getting ready to build them finally.

Nice, exactly what I was thinking. I see another one went 3400. I am waiting to hear back from my dealer today. Will let you know either way. Damn, still Wednesday.

NOICE!!! I hit 3400 on 5/26/09 i believe is the date, but dealer confirmed 3400. Man I am so excited to just be at this code, it is ridiculous!!! Almost to the home stretch!!!

My salesman checked with the manager and they won't print me a workbench because they are getting the info it seems from some where else?? Probably on the computer screen and they just don't want to print it. I don't push the matter but from what I was told it was last week around Thursday but no exact date. I sure wish this was a modern process but older dealerships are not as up on information tech and instant information. I'm afraid I'll see the dealership/my car on database here before they tell me :( . I'll be up near my dealership on Sat so I'll see if they will print me a workbench so I can have it for my records.
