Then save your money and buy the headers. If you keep nickel n diming, you'll never get the headers. You wont get any hp improvement till you get headers.

I agree with the exception of no HP improvement without headers. You'll definatley get improvement with SOLO HF cats or the stright pipes.....just not as much as LTs.

IMO....either do some HF cat mid-pipes without a tune or if you plan to tune then save a little extra and get some of the cheaper LTs. For a couple hunderd more you can have some OBX without cats.

I wouldn't do it. If you spend your $ on these pipes, it may be a waste if you ever decide to get LT headers. You won't be able to connect these to the headers. Save your money for LT's.

You can get MBS headers for $300 shipped.

You can also remove your stock cats and take a hammer and screwdriver to the internals for free.

Also, if you're planning on running headers, why pay for a tune now, then turn around and pay for another tune after headers?

I think i would be able to sell these pipes here on the market if i ever do decide to go with longtubes. Right now im just looking for sound rather than all out performance. It may be a year or two down the road before i do headers.

Got the jbs installed. Fit was not all that great bolting up to the stock manifolds though. Both gaskets had to be modified because the bolt holes would not line up. Sounds good though. Just got to get me a tune now.
