Buyers Beware about IMPORT IMAGE - They send DEFECTIVE PARTS , Thier IMAGE SUCKS!!!
I just got done telling a member of this Camaro5.com forum, that I hate writing negative crap , that I almost never write it on public forum; unless the company is deserving of it!!!
Well, IMPORT IMAGE................sucks A$$ at maintaining thier IMAGE..... I called the same day upon receiving after a professional performance shop named "EFI Alchemy" called to say the boost gauge was broke. I expressed my urgency to Joshua Nahm that I paid $600 to EFI Alchemy to install the guages for a photo shoot coming up and I need thed the guages next day. Joshua assured me 100% that I would have the replacement gauge today, and it did not arrive......... I called and they now stated to me on the phone, they had checked it prior to shipment and that no way it would be broke and it's out of thier hands..................... As stated in our User Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a refund."

I hope this gets resolved. This is EXACTLY why I dont use P@yP*l. There is no way of "proving" anything with them, so if you get a crappy product, your SOL.

This is exactly why I always used PayPal WITH a credit card. Never transfer funds to someone you don't know via your funds balance or bank account in PayPal because you are at their mercy. Using a CC gives you an added layer of protection to reverse the charges.

Now JOSH, who played himself off as "MIKE" on the phone today, is trying to cover his tracks.............
I was very professional with "MIKE" until they tried to deny they actually wrote this : Which he or one of the MODERATORS just deleted the post..................... STAY AWAY FROM IMPORT IMAGE

Buyer Beware...
Here is the screen capture from PAYPAL for proof, no matter how shady the IMAGE of a company is, as long as they can PROVIDE a tracking number to UPS your not getting your money back, your word against thiers............ And that SHADY IMAGE company can claim, oh UPS damaged the shipment vs actually sending defective parts.

Oh that's not good. With someone as "Visible" on the forums as you Kelly and to stiff you on service is a HUGE no no....
Your contributions to the Camaro5 and Veteran community is invaluable, and I would think any vendor would want to do right and not try to screw someone over when it comes to a high profile car like yours. Good luck and I hope the photo shoot goods well.

LOL at buying something from a company called Import Image in the first place. Probably some guy in a house that doesnt even have a brick and motar store.

Sorry to hear...Thats why when I pay people via paypal I NEVER use my bank account or paypal balance, I ALWAYS use my AMEX to pay, this way I know my credit card will reverse the charge 100% of the time if the merchant is shitty.

The conversation with me started very professional, I said something to the extent "Can you provide me a tracking number for the ADVANCE RMA YOU PROMISED" and right way the multiple personality of JOSH/MIKE changed, said we "don't provide any advacement replacements period" and then I clearly said " give me the person that handles your Camaro5 account, as that person clearly posted that they agreed to advance RMA for me becasue of the timelines" and Josh/Mike slipped and said "I handle the account, but did you speak to my customer service and send back your product yet" Thats when I became the angry customer, I clearly said to JOSH/MIKE "if you want to play that game with me now, I'm clearly going to make your company look like an A$$ CLOWN on Camaro5.com " and then hung up the phone!!!!! It takes a lot to piss me off and takes even more for me to post something negative online about anyone! On this forum, only once prior and that was about the crap work that Unique did to my ride..... Go ahead and search here on Camaro5.com you want find anymore than this one and the one about Unique!!!
