Changing your order?

So i ordered my car on Jun 3rd and well I came into a good chunk of cash this month and it was not planned does anyone know if it is too late for me to contact my dealer and get the V6 changed to a V8?

if its not reached 3000 status,which i doubt it has then you can change all you want. i know this because i changed some things the day before it hit 3000. better go when the dealership opens though.

is 3000 status when the factory acknowledges the order? the TPW on my car is mid August with delivery in late aug early september

you should be fine. MAKE SURE YOUR RS DOES NOT GET DROPPED!!!!

Change that 1LT/RS to a 2SS/RS!

Your Dealer has to call the DBC and have them try to put it back into his placed tab so that he can make changes to it. The dealer can request this and then will find out if it worked on the following Tuesday. It usually will work as long as the car has not advanced past the 3000 stage. Be WARNED though this will delay production of your car!! The car will be put back in line with orders that go in on the Tuesday that it was changed and resubmitted. could be only a matter of a week or two but something you should be aware of.
