I was just on my way home and an s5 with a very loud exhaust was trying to get me to go. Anyone ever race one? I'm curious what a full bolt on s5 makes..

Don't race one from a dig. I was trying to keep up with one a couple years back on a cool morning and she was holeshotting me out of every stoplight because of the AWD while I'd just spin. They're low, low 13 second cars stock and they don't require any skill to drive, so it should be a pretty even race.

I ran with one on the autobahn they are fast but they dont have us on the top end...but I am modded bolt on wise at least

I got to drive a stock S5 from my dealer for a couple of days while my Q7 was in service, and it takes off like nobody's business. The 3.0T responds very nicely to tuning, you're pretty much a ECU flash and intake away from an extra 100 hp. Takes more money to make the V8 S5 fly.

What is a 50 dig?

With the loud exhaust are you sure it wasn't an rs5 op?

No it was an S5 sline with the V8 option.
The RS5 was not available back in 2010 in Canada.
They've only started to import them this year I believe.
His exhaust was not loud just a nice clean v8 from Audi.

The sales manager at my work has a v8 S5 with just a cat back and we have ran multiple times and every time he puts an easy 2 or so cars from the start and then I reel him in by 70mph. If you're an LS3 and shifts are on point you'll take them but if you dick up its the audis race.

I'd actually be quite curious to see the outcome of that race. I'm a big fan of the S5. I think it looks awesome.

S5 would be a drivers race even with the V10 they are not that fast.
stay away from the new AUDI RS5

they are quick from the dig with AWD and traction control.

Erm, the S5 is a V8 or supercharged V6 based on year. The origional RS5 was what had the V10 and was very quick.

I ran an S5 twice from a light and I put a bus and a half on him so fast that he left early on the second light and I still whacked him bad. I hear they run low 13s.
