Metra kit questions

My scosche kit Is crap, so im going Metra. I see two different model dash kits but can't tell the difference between the two. Do either retain steering wheel controls? Does the Metra give the tpms code or knock out the remote antennas distance? Thanks all

My remote range is trash, it kicks on my heat every time I restart the car, and the hvac is really erratic and doesn't always reflect what the unit is set to. Tried multiple firmware resets, and no dice. Time to trash this kit

Contacted metra. Response below for further info:

"Good Morning. If you are speaking between the 99-3010S and the 99-3010S-LC , the LC version is for the stripped down version with the basic audio system and no OnStar. Either way, you will be able to use the ASWC-1 in conjunction (to retain steering wheel controls) except you will need to wire it in with the LC version other than us providing a plug and play harness."
