Car Wash

Will there be a car wash at the Fest? I know after my drive cross country that mine will definitely need one. Maybe a local high school or charity might host one? Would be a good way to raise some money.

If not, is there one in the area that anybody recommends?

Sounds like a good idea, but what if they also introduce swirls and scratches in the paint? I think Junkman would get a heart attack...

But I was wondering the same thing as well. Our cars are gonna be dirty from all the driving, so I'm going to need a place to wash my car as well.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust any high schoolers with washing my car unless it was held my Adams or Mothers.

I just contacted a mobile detailer who has very high ratings on Yelp and might be willing to do cars at $15-25 per but I'm getting with the mods to see if anything has been worked out at their level..

I'll let you know and maybe post a new thread.

My best buddy here in Vegas owns his own car wash/detailing service, that is also mobile. He works mainly at Nellis AFB. So you know he's at least good enough to wash for our service men/women. He said he's willing to make the drive down if there's enough interest.

Considering the sheer volume of cars that will be rolling into Phoenix, you'd need an army of detailers if you ever wanted to be able to get every car cleaned...

That is very true, but I'm not sure everyone will want their car cleaned by a detailer. I'm sure many people will be doing their own that are driving shorter distances, like southern cali, las vegas, AZ.

But if the majority of the people want their car washed, then i'm sure my friend will be more then happy to make the trip and share the love with other detailers. lol

It,s a very long drive for me and I was wondering were I could wash the car there. I'm going to pack eveything I needed to do it, just add water. But if I could pay someone to do it I might, if I thought they could do a good job [perfect] .
