Installing Granatelli wires...need help!
Check out my Granatelli spark plug wires. The end that plugs into the coil is not out far enough to make a solid connection to the coil. Can't even get a single click! Looks like the white sleeve that is over the metal contact is too far out or the contact is too far in. The wire on the left in the pic is the stock one. Look how far the contact sticks out on the stock one! Big difference! Any advise anyone? I wanted to get them installed this afternoon! Thanks!

Try some tweezers, pull back the white part first. Then try the metal. I hope you don't damage anything. Good luck!

If you install them you will be ok, but I would send them back.

That's how mine looked and they made a very slight click sound when the snalled into place. The coli side was the hardest part for me but not that bad. I'll pull one of my wires to have a look.

Nothing you can do, it wasnt pushed far enough into the boot when it was made, send them back I'm 1000% sure Granatelli will take care of it. You cant try to push the wire into the boot further but I doubt it will budge. We leave about 1/8 inch of the terminal hanging out on the boot just for this reason. I do like the coil guide on there though.

Maybe hard to tell but in my picture the clip and insulator are flush. Like I said all of my MSD's are like that and yes my stock ones look just like yours. no problems here

So I guess they'll be OK? They seem to seat all the way in but just don't click at all! I called Granatelli and left a message. Don't know if they're open today or not. Lee, do yours click at all when you seat them?

push it on and if it isnt lose then most likely you will be fine... you should feel some type of lock though when you push it on.. wont be an audible click but you should feel it with your fingers

Just thought about something. If you used more grease than I did, it may lessen the feel and sound of the click.

Got back from running around and got them installed! Seems to be firing on all cylinders so I guess we're OK! I got some of that dielectric grease on the metal contacts so I hope that's OK. I never did feel any clicks on the coil ends but definatly could feel it click onto the plug ends. I just shoved them onto the coils as far as they'll go and looked like same as stock!
