Price will vary on who does the work. The kits are not that bad to install...You can do it yourself in 3-4 hours and some tuners wont charge extra for a separate nitrous tune. You may want to look at the Nirous Outlet kit or Nytrex for the money. The Nytrex comes with a purge for that price, however the Nitrous Outlet kit will allow higher HP spray.

Your pricing still seems high, I would think u could be closer to $2k parts and labor

I agree with rest, get a second quote. $1155 for install is to much. I'd also look into nitrous outlet or zex. Nitrous outlet is good guys but I see a lot of zex kits on v6s

You might want to talk to some of us on here based on where you live. We could help with the install, while you help also and learn about your car. Than just do a tune to get it dailed in. If you don't want to get your hands involved that maybe while your pricing is high. They figure you don't do it so you really don't know what it involves. It also looks from your post you are being charged 3 times for ECU changes: N/A tune, nitrous tune and IAT retard tune for nitrous??? They should give you a break on the tuning at least.

I just want it done properly, there are a few who say they can install it but this is a MAJOR change to the engine I just dont want some shade tree mechanic doing the work and in 3 years my engine blows up

I like how all these really fast V6's are 2LT/RS cars. I wonder how many of us bought them with plans to mod like crazy and how many just wanted a really nice fully loaded V6 and then got bit by the mod bug...

I never had any thoughts of modding this when I bought it. Than I went to SEMA and saw the NYTREX kit and said ok a small 50 shot for some fun. Now you know the rest of the story.

Ha, I had no plans either, this is the first car I've bought brand new and I wanted to keep it that way. Then this site ruined me.
But the plus side is with all the power I've added my gas mileage is every bit as good as it was new. I routinely see above 30mpg on highway with cruise set to 65. I love getting good gas mileage lol.
