Blade spoiler question
Hello ,
Im new to the forums and now a happy owner of a 2012 2ss camaro. I had a question i was hoping to get answered in regards to the blade spoiler offered seperately instead or the rs package one. I know how to take off the rs package spoiler and im pretty handy when it comes to working on cars but does anyone know if the blade spoiler has can fit within the same holes that were put for the rs package ones so no drill work is necessary. Thanks |

if you are talking about the GM Dove Tail then yes you do have to drill holes for the quarter panel pieces.

z28racer is correct. I have the GM dovetail spoiler on my car. The center section fits in the same holes that the original spoiler used, but you do need to drill holes for the two outer quarter panel sections. The spoiler does come with a template to use. I took mine to a body shop because I was getting stripes painted on at the same time.

Look into the Unrestricted Motorsports Blade spoiler. They are a vendor on the forum. No additional holes required.

you also have to drill one hole in the trunk lid for the third brake light wire.
