hammdo has 3.91 gears and stock stall. I have seen a few others post. Would probably get more bites if this was in a different forum.

I have had them for almost two years and I think for a street l99 it's the best bang for the buck.Especially if you can remove the pumpkin and have somebody install the gears.Cost me about 550.00 for gears and install. This is the way they should be from the factory. You may want to start a tire fund lol.

I have a 2010 SS l99 with 3.91s, CAI, headers, and cat delete. I love them. It is my daily driver. I drive right at 100 miles a day. It is def the best bang for buck. I put around 30 passes a weekend at the track on my car. As far as traction is concern, I have less spin now than I did with my stock gears. I know thats weird. But hope that helped

Yep I have every bolt on you can get, 3.91 gears, dd and love it. Did full suspension upgrades to 1LE spec with BMR etc. The car is a very sporty drive - awesome! I'm over 50 and still like the way it rides and performs. Cam and heads are next. Going to keep stock converter and vvt. Ryan from GPI is guiding me on that upgrade. So love the changes... Highway is still 20+ mpg

We have a few guys that DD with the set up you are asking about. Freeway rpms's are not much of a factor and they have maybe lost 1-2mpg with them but the performance makes up for it . We hear no complaints!

What rpm are you going thru the traps at?

And I'd also like to hear any other guys on this subject that have the 3.91's in an auto. Same question? ⬆️
