Picked mine up yesterday. Couldnt get the smile off my face. Did you get it at Apple Valley, because a saw one in the delivery bay when I picked mine up.

yea we got ours at apple valley and we saw your black ss sitting there. i made the comment of how nice that black looks. I love the Gray though. Wasn't sure due to not seeing the car as we ordered it awhile ago. How you like that catch point on the clutch? haha took some getting used to.

Ordered mine on May 8, but worth the wait. The clutch is tricky at first, but I am used to it already.

Congrats to both new Martinsburg owners! I presume you bought from David Boone? Nice guy.
In case you weren't aware, there is a Camaro Club in Martinsburg. It's called the Eastern Panhandle Camaro Association and it's web site is http://www.easternpanhandlecamaro.com/. (That's me and my new Camaro on the home page.) It's cheap to join and has great members. So, there will be plenty of opportunities to get together for local shows. We can also post opportunities here so we can stay in touch. |

I did not buy from David Boone. Our sales guy was Terry I think. Has anyone else had the problem of people in ford escorts, dodge neons, and other cars trying to get you to race them? Anytime we go out in her thats all people seem to want. I haven't done it.. however I have been tempted.

You must be kidding! No, haven't had that problem. I am sure they just want to witness the awesome power of a Camaro.

No not kidding. I think its funny as hell. I really like it when they rev the engine up and smoke rolls out.

GrayGhost or BCDCSINE... I am sure I have past both of you many times on Ridge Road and Dry Run Road. I have a black 2000 Z28 with a billet grill and always wave at fellow Camaro drivers. My dad has a black 2000 SS and we usually travel to places in a pack if you have seen us.
Anyways, I am the Founder and President of the eastern Panhandle Camaro Association located in Martinsburg. I just want to extend a huge invitation for both of you to look us up and visit our site and forum at: www.easternpanhandlecamaro.com Hope to see you around! |
