Interestingly, my top only ripples a little at highway speeds. Never so much that I worry about it. I would like to look into the cover, however. It looks interesting.

bad design!! this is the only vert that I see that has a flapping top. definitely need to put the tonneau cover on at highway speeds interesting enough, the tonneau cover is NOT standard on certain trim levels. |

Oh no, it is custom sized for each application, finished and ready to go upon receipt. If you have a 13-14, you will note that their website is not up to date. I called them to ensure that the item number for my model in 2012 would fit my 2014. They assured me it would and it does.
You need to spend some time thinking about the various performance factors for your particular use. And if color is important to you, it may guide your fabric choice. I got gray Noah which is a three or four ply fabric with vey soft polyester on the outside sandwiching a waterproof internal layer, so it's a good all purpose cover. I use it primarily in two common situations for me: 1. At work, I park in a parking garage. It is public but is only used by the office where I work and as overflow for a restaurant next door. So, not a lot of exposure. 2. At my golf club when I'm sure it won't rain.

Any of you guys have an idea where I can purchase a tonneau cover online? Going to the dealership is around 500$. Trying to save some bucks. Thanks.

Check the classifieds section on here, I bought a second one from a member, just be sure it comes with the mounting posts. I think I saw one recently on here for $300. Have you also checked eBay?

They also have the bolts and spacers. My car came from the original owner with the tonneau, but the bolts weren't installed and I couldn't find them in the car so I got them from newgmparts.com for less than 10 bucks I think.

I wonder if I am the only one who doesn't have a problem with this "parachute" effect? I used the tonneau cover once and it was such a pain that I put it back in the bag and threw it on the top shelf in the garage, haven't moved it since. The top is so heavy I can't imagine enough air getting underneath of it to inflate it. And I had the car up to 135 mph when I drove it home from Rodgers Chevrolet. Never have had an issue with this.

It's not about the entire top coming up. It's about the top piece of fabric flapping in the wind. We know the top won't come up!

I should have been more clear - no wind flapping at all for me.
