Would that black plastidip work on the bow tie emblem and the Camaro lettering? I just want to black them out, and all these black out kits seem overpriced as hell.

Kemah, cool, glad to have the H-town guys so willing to help with this next Fest... It's going to be amazazazing.....

I have to say you picked the best color for a ZL1...

You could probably make it work. However I wouldn't if you cannot take them off and properly coat them.

Thanks, the color has REALLY grown on me, it's beautiful in the sun.

You wouldn't believe how excited the Houston crowd is. Just mentioning C5 fest at our club meeting yesterday got everyone talking.

Yea I am planning on using a heat gun to remove them and then doing the work. I might even use vinyl wrap if that's better. Then I just gotta figure a way to stick them back on.

Sticking them back on might be tricky. That adhesive is pretty useless once it is removed from the car.

I am gonna roll with the plastidip, been watching the youtube DIYs and this stuff is very easy to use while the emblems, bezels etc are still on the car. I can't believe I haven't seen this stuff before and I still can't believe people spend upwards of $150 buying stuff from emblempros/defenderworx.

Yeah I really don't know why people are spending that much on blacked out bezels. Honestly I like the looks of the plasti dip more than the after market bezels. It gives it a similar look and texture as the black plastic trim GM uses.
