Going back to have work done on rear end
So looks like the noise is back again. A while back I had this rubbing noise when I first bought the car when I was making slow tight turns.
After having them look at it and because I have the extended warrantee I was told it was the seals for the rear end they replace the seals and the fluid and told me to come back in 500 miles if the noise started again it’s been about 2000 miles and the noise of started again I called up the dealer and they told me no problem to make an appointment and bring it in so they can take a look at it and see what the course of action is going to be. My question is what options did this car, with one first purchased it’s a 2012 two SS convertible I was wondering since I’m going to probably have them replace the rear like they had told me maybe I can convince them to let me spend a little bit more get the performance axle option that would’ve came in this car when purchased brand new or maybe I’m just talking out of my ass because I don’t know what I’m talking about lol I guess my question is what options do I have for rear end on this car I don’t have much work done to it besides the full exhaust minus the headers I wouldn’t mind a little bit more speed during acceleration though and I remember having 373‘s in my 1996 SS and I love them |

Some dealerships will install aftermarket parts that you purchase but they will not provide a warranty on the parts or the labor.
